We just recently moved out of the Thomas Apartments and would highly recommend them! The shared amenities were always clean, the location was in walking distance to all our necessities, and maintenance handled any issue we had in a timely and professional manner. We would specifically like to recognize Sara, the Community Manager. Sara was so kind and made our experience phenomenal, her helpfulness exceeded our expectations and we cannot thank her enough!

Wanted to say, as a resident of this building for nearly 8 years, this location has never felt better managed. Key additions on the crew have made living here better. A special shoutout to Yolanda who since arriving has left the community cleaner than I’ve ever seen it. We once would step into weird smelling elevators or worked out in the gym where the same grime would exist for weeks without being addressed but Yolanda has absolutely eliminated all of that. This place has never been cleaner and felt more livable!

Just moved in a few days ago but already incredibly happy with the apartment, the community, and the location. The staff made the move warm and painless, and the residents we’ve met so far are very friendly. About the community and neighborhood: the apartments, public areas, grounds, and the garage are clean, and the parking spaces are of ample size. The building and neighborhood seem very quiet. The street is more residential in feel, despite the fact that CBS Radford Studios are directly across the street.

The process of moving was very fast and seamless, I love how protected the apartment is with gated security methods. Friendly property mangers and clean apartments to move in to. So far my experience is great. It's a pretty quiet community. Maintenance is friendly and seems to be on top of things. No annoying neighbors or community problems that Ive seen so far. Ive been here for 2 weeks so far.

I’ve been here for 3 years and seen the transition of team and saying that it’s been quite refreshing! Sara, Brittney , Filly have been outstanding in being prompt and responsive! They always get any issues I need resolved! They always have goodies and treats at the office too! If you are interested in having a place here please do! The place was great under the Avalon property management, everything has changed when the Thomas Apartments took over. Editing the review to be fair to the maintenance team. They are working hard and provide quality services. The problem is a total lack of communication with the managers and the office. They contacted me regarding the 3-star review here and invited to share more. However, even here they have not followed up and my concerns remained unaddressed: no phone called, no answered emails or return call in left voicemails. I have not received it even once since they are here.

The maintenance and upkeep team for Avalon Studio 4121 of Pablo, Willie and Maria are excellent. The building is beautifully maintained, and any issues that come up (as they will, in any building) are taken care of almost immediately and are always fixed perfectly. The team are so warm and nice - they even give my dog treats when they see him, and he loves them! Christina in the office is also wonderful, and a warm and welcoming presence on site.

I gave 4 stars just because nothing is perfect but one of the best things here is Maria. She actually cares about all the residents and when my packages get left out in the open she personally delivers them although I’m sure that’s not part of her job description. She takes care to speak to everyone and is incredibly friendly and conscientious. Christina is amazing and very funny on top of great at her job. My lack of the fifth star has to do with the response of the courtesy patrol. I know they can’t be everywhere and I know sometimes it’s slow but I have been told to call the police because a specific resident “won’t answer the door anyway” and I feel like the fifth star would come from the community caring more about their response and dealing with tenants who are blatantly defying all rules and disturbing others. Additionally I think it’s wrong to raise rents during a pandemic but.... I guess I get it. Or I’ll move. My main point though: Marie and Christina are amazing 🤩.

I highly recommend this place. I was debating moving here for a few months as my current living situation was set to expire. Christina went above and beyond to be completely transparent, available, and friendly towards me. You don’t get that at many places in LA these days. I’d also like to add a friend of mine has lived in a 2 bedroom in the building for over two years and loves it. They are nice well maintained units on a quiet street right next to a Trader Joe’s and one of the best sushi places (studio sushi). Highly recommend. Go see Christina and make this your new home!

I moved in back in March and have loved living here! Eric was wonderful when I was looking at the property as I was moving from Texas and was super communicative throughout the whole process. The maintenance team, Enrique and Maria, are absolutely amazing. They are just great at what they do but they go the extra (thousand) steps. Just one example, I dropped my keys in the large recycle bin in the garage and Enrique and Maria fished them out for me - you guys are truly the best and thank you for everything you do!

I have been living at Avalon Studio 4121 for a little over a year now and loving every moment of it. The staff here are the dream team, they get things done! There are no questions or concerns that Eric can't address. The maintenance team, Pablo, Enrique and Maria will solve and fix any issues you have, if not they will replace whatever you need with a new one no questions asked. I had recently changed units and I needed the washer/dryer to be fixed, Enrique came in and handled it like a boss! I truly appreciate it Enrique, thank you. I encourage everyone that is looking for a place to live to come and check out Avalon, you will not be disappointed.

My husband and I have lived here about 8 months and our experience has been very positive so far. Wanted to give a shout out to the maintenance team- Pablo and Enrique. They always respond to our maintenance requests so quickly and are able to solve most everything in one visit. We so appreciate how quick they are able to make repairs. I feel bad I don't know her name but there's also a woman who handles the cleaning of the common areas and she also does a great job, the building is always pretty clean. Eric in the leasing office has also been very helpful. Our only real 'complaint' is that the elevator can be slow during busy times but it's not always that bad.

I have lived at two Avalon properties and this one is by far my favorite. The location is amazing and close to so many good restaurants and it's pretty cool living next to the CBS lot which has so many free taping nights if you are into it. The management is super nice and the maintenance team (shout out to Maria and Enrique) is amazing, we generally have issues resolved quickly and with a smile :) They even have food trucks come out some times which is a nice bonus!

Management and maintenance are very responsive. Repairs are completed very rapidly and maintenance team always goes out of their way to do extras. Management also does extra favors like putting packages in your apartment if you're not home. We never notice excessive or annoying noise, and as a whole, the residents tend to be young professionals and some retired folks-- very friendly and helpful. Wonderful location, walking distance to tons of shops and restaurants. The building is a bit older but remodeled and updated. You need to be patient with necessary repairs at times, but it's also more spacious than some of the newer buildings and you can't beat the location. Very satisfied with building overall. Very happy with maintenance team and management.

Been here now a month. The management team is professional and polite as well as kind and welcoming. The maintenance staff is also great!! Things are clean and well kept and the community is quiet and mostly adult. The move in process was easy and I am very happy thus far! The location is really great if you work in or around LA. I was living on the west side before this and have found this to actually be a better spot for my overall commute. Apartments are nice. Black marble tops, dark brown wood, Stainless. Electric so bummer there, would have preferred gas but its all good. The little weight room handles most needs and generally one would feel safe in and around the property. Update 2019: I was locked out of the storage unit area and Pablo the maintenance guy was wonderful and came to my rescue after hours. Great guy and I am very thankful for him to have come to save the day. Thanks Pablo!
